Matt S Trout and Mark Keating will be in Pisa, Italy between the 22nd-24th October to attend and present talks at the Italian Perl Workshop

The workshop has been organised by the Italian Perl Mongers and has two language tracks, Italian and English. Mark and Matt will be presenting their talks on the English tract. Matt will be presenting a paper on Antiquated Perl and Mark will be talking about the Enlightened Perl Organisation.

Mark Keating has been asked, and has accepted, the task of organising the London Perl Workshop.

The workshop will be held at the University of Westminster's Cavendish Campus once again and we expect a good turnout from the Shadowcat Staff with talks submitted and volunteers gained from the ranks.

Matt S Trout and Mark Keating will be in Warrington, at the Friar Penketh, on the 30th September for the North West England Perl Mongers bi-monthly Social meeting.

This months meeting has been kindly organised by JJ for the whole of the North West England Perl Mongers group and a warm thanks goes out to him.

Meeting 8: Tech Meeting 4

Matt S Trout and Mark Keating will be in lancaster, at the Lancaster university, on the 2nd September for the North West England Perl Mongers bi-monthly technical meeting.

The shape of the evening will be a discussion on the role that the NWE.PMers will play in the upcoming GSoC2009, as well as the possibility of a North England Enlightened Perl Workshop.

The meeting is being held on the 2nd September, one week later than its due date, to allow Mark to attend a holiday in Scotland
